Entrance to Punakha Dzong with huge beehives hanging from above. This fortress located between the Pho Chhu (Male) and Mo Chhu (Female) rivers in the Punakha Valley was built in 1638. The government of Bhutan was seated here until the capital was moved to Thimphu in 1955.
