Curtis Venable and Tom Banks (R) on the wooden Wabash Cannonball railroad bridge built in 1897 during the Cross Country Chase motorcycle endurance run from Sault Sainte Marie, MI to Key West, FL (for vintage bikes from 1930-1948). It was pretty as can be but the warped boards that formed the narrow tracks made some great stories for the rest of the trip. This was part of the 315 mile stage 4 ride from Urbana, IL to Bowling Green, KY USA. Monday, September 9, 2019. Photography ©2019 Michael Lichter.
